The Verba family of initiation systems represents a continuation of the Ukrainian-manufactured Djonik systems, incorporating either magnetic sensing or impact-based activation. The Verba series currently comprises a wide range of variants used as initiation systems for FPV racing drone-based improvised loitering munitions, armed UAV ammunition, and emplaced IEDs, some of which allow the mode of operation to be programmed via the UAV’s control system. Detailed operating manuals have recently been published, likely originating from the Ukrainian manufacturer, providing specifications and technical data for five currently existing system types, including variants that have not yet been documented in active conflict zones.
