On January 30, 2022, security forces neutralized an array of roadside IEDs planted by Popular Defense Force operatives on a road in Letpadaung, in Salingya Township, in Sagaing Region, in northwestern Myanmar.
Ten of the IEDs were cased in cast, sealed concrete, with electrical wires protruding from the top.
In addition, 13 improvised directional fragmentation dispersal platforms attached to or hung from trees along roads were neutralized. The IED array comprised a total of 33 IEDs.
